I was reading in another post about somebody that had these problems, and I think my truck has the same. If there is a TSB, does that mean that dealers are supposed to know about it and fix the problems, no qustions asked? Or do you still have to do a lot of convincing to get them to believe there is anything wrong?
What should I do?

I also have a steering knock, but am unaware of what a TSB is.

Prycer, TSB is Technical Service Bulletin I believe. Do a search and you'll find it.
I posted earlier about this problem and responses were great. I found the TSB and was armed when I went into my local dealer (Ventura, CA.) but when I told him the symptoms his response was "Yep, we'll have it done by the end of the day". Didn't bat an eye. Make sure you take a copy just incase. Also make sure it's the latest TSB as there was an earlier TSB that only called for repacking the intermediate shaft in the steering collum. The latest TSB says to replace the shaft.
