I got a fuel leak on engine. Checked all lines---no leaks there. Just started lopey idle too when warming up. I.m past 3 year --but under 36000. Question is--If FPR is bad--will 100000 mile warranty cover this??

I believe that the LB7 has a 5 year 100,000 mile warranty on the powertrain so if you are under 100,000 miles, the Fuel Pressure Regulator should be covered.


Probably not the FPR that is leaking fuel...what did you notice that made you think there was a fuel leak?

I got a very bad raw diesel smell from underthe hood. Really notice it after shutting truck off when engine is warm. Everyone that gets near the truck always have a comment about the diesel odor.
