ok i did a search on the forum and i didn't come up with anything that real covers my question. when i play cd's the volume is at one level. when i switch over to the radio the volume coming out is half. this just started in the last month. i think. i just seemed to notice it. is anyone else having this problem.

If that is the Bose in-dash 6 CD combo radio, I think it remembers different source volumes and settings based on driver memory settings. Not sure though.


I have not noticed a difference on mine from one input to another, just different station volumes and recording volumes on the CD's.

You are correct about the bose system having the last setting left in before shutting down and also the last driver (driver 1 versus driver 2).


You may also be noticing the sound clarity of a cd versus a radio station. I have also noticed the a brand new cd will sound louder than one that has been played numerous amounts of time.
