With all the extra strain from beefed tie-rods, a heavy bar (center section) and a new dampner......what will the joints hold? I was over at the GMC shop and two GMC's (Yukon's) came in with busted tie-rod ends. I wonder if GM is making the rods softer than the joint so that they don't pop off or snap. In my life I have never seen a rod turn lose unless it was a really bad wreck......these wern't. Niether truck had hardly a scratch, almost as if they hit a curb or something? They were from two different places..... I just thought it was odd. I did not check the MFG date but one looked like an 04' and the other an 03'.
