Hi to all:
I have had some kind of occasional rattling noise from my engine compartment for a while which I believe comes from the driver side. I was hearing it mainly when I was on very bumpy streets. I don't think it was my steering shaft since base on what I read here it was ot a clunk kind of noise but I could be wrong. It gradually got worse like something is getting loose. I try to find few times but o luck. Some times I tought It is coming from under dash. Any ways, today I went under the truck again with no luck. When I was looking under the hood I saw this nut is sittig on the frame rail next to exhaust heat sheild. I didn't see/feel anything loose or any bolt/stud without nut or even something similar!to this nut i that area of the engine. Any ideas from the guys who work often under the hood?By the way, my truck was in the dealer dew moths back because my power steering was soaked in fuild ad they told me the pressure line clamp was loose (It is soaked again! ). Could this loose nut be from something related to that?
