Does the boost line from the guage hook up to the line that runs from the turbo to the wastegate? If not where does it hook up? And if so does anyone know if it matters if I have the PPE boost valve ahead or behind where I plumb in the guage boost? Thanks.

Three options for picking up boost in an '03; it can be installed in the wastegate hose, drill and tap the intake tube (good example on Kennedy Diesel's web site under 'Tech Tips' - 'Gauge Installation'), or use an SD sleeve.

If using the wastegate hose, you would need to T in before the the boost fooler if you wanted an accurate boost reading. Installing after the PPE valve would give you a lower reading since the boost fooler valve does just that, makes your boost appear lower than it actullly is to the wastegate causing it to stay closed longer.
