Is there any kind of sound difference between the 4" and 5" MBRP cat-back exhaust? I have the 4" and after I did the install it didn't seem to sound any different than stock and now i'm wondering if I should have done the 5" instead . I know that still having the cat in is the biggest cause of it being quiet but right now I would rather not have any dealer warranty or state emmission problems by taking it out. I'm not looking for something that is really loud but I don't want it to sound stock . :banghead:

I bet the 5 inch wouldnt change the sound too much, the cat is what is keeping it quiet imo

The cat is the issue. IMHO, a cat back isn't worth doing.

Yes, the 5" kits sound a little deeper. I suggest getting an MBRP front-pipe as they are a direct bolt in and can be put back to stock when you need to. This will give you the sound you are looking for.

Does anybody have a sound clip of a 5" cat-back?
