I was just wondering what all tires (of the same size as previous) have people ran across that have resulted in a notable loss or gain of MPG.

Again, I am looking for people who have replaced tires with the same size and noticed a significant loss or gain of fuel MPG...?

Noting the size and make/models of tires with your response would be very helpful.

I have read, for example, that the Goodyear Wranglers with Silent Armor are notorious for loss of 2MPG or more when replacing the same size (as previous) tire. Any other notorious tires...?

You can almost predict which ones will cost you more mpg..... the more aggresive the tread the more rrolling resistance the less mpg. Smaller, more continuous lugs (highway tire) will be similar to stock.
