Ill be the first to chime in here, ive posted several times before with my experience, so here goes for those who are looking for other opinions. IMO ONLY !! I didnt like it !! - Got turbo bark, some surging and fish-biting, it felt soft and spongy when gassing it, instead of feelilng like it was laying down some serious torque, shifting wasnt too great, turbo not dialed in, i didnt think it was smooth, and at times was erratic - it never really worked the same way over and over regardless of the settings and how long i left it on that setting for. It also limped something 2 times, on WOT runs, wouldnt go above 2k rpm, and I know it shouldnt have limped the tranny, im running the suncoast stage 3 ? Both times, I had to shut it down, clear the codes, then go and it was ok, but im not sure why that happened ?? & I never really got any good answers from Edge either regarding some of the issues I was having as well, so that kind of discouraged me as well. Just my observations and findingsEdited by: tbone1227

tbone1227,

Sorry to hear you had such a bad experience. I've followed your posts about the Juice before and felt badly about it for you.

I on the other hand, have nothing but good things to say about the Juice. I run a stock transmission with a few other things added (see sig). I installed the Juice/Attitude after before the downpipe, but after the exhaust. I couldn't be happier. I have run only up to level 3, low boost fueling at 5, and defuel all locked shifts. Before I installed the downpipe I really couldn't notice the defueling on the shifts TOO much, but now I notice them a lot more. There is significant power gain on level 3. I started on level 1 and stayed there for a week or two, then went to level 2, same thing and now I'm on level 3.

The only thing I don't like, but admittedly is a good feature, is that it doesn't apply power until the engine temp hits 180 degrees. It will add some power at 150 (could be 151, as my Attitude has NEVER displayed 150, it just goes from 149 to 151), and then add full power at 180. I have done a number of tests to try to confirm this, and this is about the best I can come up with. I only live a short distance from work, so I don't get the full power in the morning on the drive to work, but usually by the afternoon, it will hit 180, so I come home with a smile on my face.

I love it and would recommend it. It's an easy install/removal for warranty work.

Now, having praised the Juice/Attitude, understand, it is the only power enhancer I have tested on this truck, so take it for what it's worth.

I've had mine for a week on my 2004 CC 4x4 D/A. I started out running at level 3 and now it will put you in the seat when rolling on the throttle between say 55-70mph. I haven't been pushing mine too hard on the low end but the power is there if I want/need it. I'm probably going to end up with an aftermarket exhaust to try to get the EGT's down if I have a problem with high temp's while towing. Man the edge made my truck 10x's more fun to drive.....I just can't get the smile off my face http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif

There are goods and bads as listed above, but overall I like it. I have been having problems with the infamous engine limp where it will not allow over 2000 rpm's. It definately sucks when it happens, and always at the worst time!

Tbone...have you sent the juice back for a re-flash? Somethin just doesn't seem right. Just a suggestion...I had a quad box a while back for my old dodge and it was actin funny...sent it back had it reflashed and all was well. Maybe its worth a try? Staying with the post...2000 miles on the edge and it runs very nicely!

they told me there wasnt a problem, that i was an isolated case ( although others had similar problems ), and that whatever it was, they didnt have an answer, explanation, nor a fix for. I ended up selling it instead of going round and round with them on fixes when they wouldnt acknowledge any problems or even want to try and fix it. Oh well, I know alot of other people have great success and love it - its just one of those things

Emerick- I have been bugging Aaron at Edge for a while now about the HOT OJ, no answers. However, I have a feeling something may show up at Kennedys this weekend.
