I have got to get something to lift my truck when towing my 5er...Since we got the new one (heavier pin weight) the truck rides lower and people think my high beam lights are on...Most of the suckers high beam me just as they are passing so I can't show them I am not intentionally trying to be a jerk.
What do you guys suggest?? I am leaning towards the "air-ride" bags. I don't think I'll get the compressor as I keep one in my toolbox or on the trailer anyway.
Thanks

Ive got a set of Firestones...couldnt be happier with them and wish I would have done them a long time ago. Ive pieced an on board air setup together but have yet to install that part of it. You wont be dissapointed when you get them installed.

I had the firestones also on my 03. I am getting another set installed on my 07 before camping season starts. Like Duratys says you will be happy with them. I suggest that unless your towing dont keep that much air in them, about 15-20 psi. I always got bad wheel hop and a rougher ride with more air.

I might suggest our air bag kit and a set of our sway bars.

Air-lift superduty bags on mine. Drilled holes in the bumper next to the license plate for the valves. They work great. 5psi unloaded and usually around 45 to 50 loaded. Got 10 in them now because of the shell/tools/roof rack and H2 spare tire.

Air lift super duty on mine. I have 2 pallets of 18" travertine tile on my truck with 50lbs. of air and you can't even tell they are there. If you use them to level the 5th wheel there is enough air line in the kit to put the fill valves behind the fuel door. That menas no crouching down between the trailer and truck and most portable compressors will have enough cord to get to the fuel door when plugged into cigarette lighter.:)

The reason I put mine in the bumper is that I use the hitch height to determine how much air I need to put in the bags. I have an extension cord for the 12v portable air compressor so getting it back there isn't a problem.

Airlift Super Duty bags and SureSet compressor system. This is my 3rd set of Airlift bags with no problems. Ran valve stems for manual air fill thru top license plate bolts. No drilling and a factory look.

I have Firestone Ride Rites with the in cab dual control. I mounted my compressor under the hood on the right side of the fire wall. I am hauling an 1150 Arctic Fox camper with a slide. It is a must to be able to adjust both sides
independently on the fly. The left side (slide) is at least 200lbs heavier. I am very happy with the set up.
