I run power service with centane boost. there are probably better ones available. It is readily available at walmart for $10.97 for 96 oz. that will treat 10 tanks so its around $1 per tank and I dont have to order it. The way I see it, I probably would slack off if it cost too much or was a pain to get, this way I wont slack off use. I know some have had neg. opinions of it and there was a lot of talk about weather it has alchohol (very bad) or not but I think that was finally put to rest in another thread that it does NOT have alchohol. It has worked well for me so far, however I only have 6k miles as of now so we'll see.

I use Howes. I haven't heard anything bad about it. It's avaliable at the truck stop in my town so that is what I use.

I use stanadyne. Available @ local Chevy dealer. Keep your head up, it is discouraging to see this happen. Mine has ran great since I started using conditioner. 1200 plus miles, no hickups.

Another one for power service. It seems to have quieter diesel clatter and my MPG's did go up a little but I'm still breaking in, 17K as of today. I also did the MAX-Mod to the EGR. That also helped the MPG but now I have to keep my foot out of it. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif

I use the Power Service also. It plainly says on the side of the bottle that it does not contain any alcohol. I have been a long time fan of Power Service products. I worked with heavy equipment for almost 30 years and the Power Service products would clear up jeling problems in freezing weather when other products would not.

Stanadyne is what I use. It is supposed to improve the entire fuel system. I get about 1-2 miles per gallon better mileage using it.

Suggest you check out this site: http://www.blueridgediesel.com/specials1.htm

I just ordered 5 gallons of Stanadyne. It is much cheaper to buy in 5 gallons. I figure 5 gallons will last about 45,000 miles!

It is approved by GM and has no alcohol.Edited by: dchilders
