Hi everyone I am new here, just purchassed my second diesel truck of my life and first GM product, as you can tell by my handle I was a FOrd man until it was totalled last month. My father who was a Ford man until this past fall when he bought an '05 2500HD Silverado, driving his I gave Chev's a chance and I was open minded when purchasing a replacement for my Ford. In the end I found a great truck (I think) it arrives on Saturday.
Sorry for writing a novel but here is my question.

On my build sheet summary it says I have a VYU-snow plow prep provisions del. electronic climate ctrl.

Does anybody have this on their trucks and know what it's for.

also does anybody know what this is?

KUP-Engine PTO control variable speed

I imagine a power take off but for what?

only thing ive seen that talked about the pto was under the KD instructions for the high idle/ you can tap into the harness instead of going ot the ecm for the high idle
