: Cops like black smoke too I guess
dmaxalliTech 08-29-2004, 11:26 PM So, took the family out to eat tonite and on the way home, decided to turn that big VA box up for some stripe painting...
Pull off from a stop light and lay right in it, black smoke is visable from afar... Got to 65 in a hurry and layed back down on it... no more then let off the pedal and I see a cop coming the other way slow right down, he turns around right in the median and decides to tuck in behind me and he closes in at a high rate of speed... Wife is laughing her arse off at me now... We come to a construction zone and dummy me too busy looking in mirror at cop to notice that speed limit drops to 45mph as I am still doing 55 mph. He is tight on my but now.. As soon as contruction zone is past and shoulder open up, I figure I have had it, He pulls out and comes up along side of me as I am pulling off the road... He looks right at me and gives me the biggest thumbs up and smile I have ever seen!... I couldnt believe it!
Hindsight, I should have rolled back in it and painted a stipe on his door,.....maybe not push my luck
chevmeister 08-29-2004, 11:36 PM Lucky dog..... shoulda smoked the cop.... that woulda been classic.

Terrain Twister 08-29-2004, 11:44 PM Have a buddy that's a cop in the next city over from me. Let him drive the truck one day and now he says he might have to confiscate it for evidence. Told him he'd be eating soot if he tried.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif Keep waiting to see him in uniform and have a little fun.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif Wonder if the 'Ferd' police cruiser can keep up?

Everyday on my way to and from work, on my rural road is the local Hwy Patrol post. I always wave to any of them if they are out. I figure if someday they pulled me over....maybe they'd let me keep my box. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clown.gif
