I just installed the TTT trailer mirrors. In the instructions it said the mirror recall had to be disabled. If you don't the mirrors do not remember where to go and bottom out you might say. I have the driver position recall disabled so nothing is remebered, I would rather let the seat etc recall and just shut the mirrors off. Can this be done?

I disabled Drver 1 seat recall, but didn't think about Driver 2 recall. When my wife used her unlocking fob, the mirrors objected. I need to disable this driver also.

You also might be able to have someone with a Tech-II reprogram the BCM to towing mirrors.


I have the factory power extending towing mirrors and I know that Eric has mentioned that it is a simple reprogram for those types of mirrors.

No, only issues are when you have the power folding mirrors. They are the only ones with the recall/memory feature
