Can you put an LBZ turbo on an LLY? Would there be any advantages? What else would you have to change? Thanks,

I think about the only difference would be in low end throttle response. You must have seen the turbo Tony has for sale in the marketplace. I would call McRat for the best advice. he had one on his LLY and i think he had to modify the vane position sensor to get it to work.

I have both LLY turbo and a LBZ turbo for sale along with many other parts.

If you are looking for more power, don't bother. However, it widens your powerband. So if you wasted your factory charger, go ahead and do it. But don't bother if your factory charger is OK.

There is alot more you have to do before you need to change the turbo. Step up to the plate.:D

Let's say your at a red light and you nail it without a boosted launch...........would the LBZ turbo be faster accelerating ???

I take it from McRat's posts......boosted launches give the same ET's ! What about unboosted ?

Yes, the LBZ will accelerate quicker from idle, but not boosted.
