Seeing that i don't have a intercooler can anyone that does get a boost pressure before the cooler and a pressure after when your at max boost, also let me know where your tied in with your boost pressure sensor. Working on something here. Even if its 1 PSI difference it will matter. I would like to know what type of cooler your using too.

I could be just having a blonde moment but i'm not blonde. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Geek.gif

Boost pressure before adding the charge-air cooler was ~15psi, with Intake Air Temps of around 180deg and climbing quickly.

No other changes, Boost now runs ~12psi, with IAT no more than 30deg above ambient, less if on the open road.

~3psi is about correct for that drop in Boost temperature.

Purpose of this, folks, is cool dense air occupies less volume than same amount of hot air.Edited by: gmctd
