Exactly as described..when I have the wheels cranked and I hit bumps..not even big ones..just rough pavement the front end clunks. Could not find anything loose when I had it ont he lift...is this life or death or will I make it ona 1200 mile trip without my font end falling off..LOL

You should be able to make it ok. I think there was a TSB about the front end and some steering issue. You might want to have that checked out soon though as it will only get worse. Suppose to be some steering shaft assembly IIRC...

Most dealers will use ANY excuse to get out of doing warranty work, so don't be surprised if they make mention of the H2's. That being said...
What you describe sounds more like a CV starting to get fussy. Look under your truck for signs of wear at the rubber boots. Pay particular attention to whether or not they have grease on them (which would indicate a tear). That would be my first guess.

Still sounds like the intermediate steering shaft issue we've read so much about.

Do you have the T-Bars cranked up?
