Depends on how much horsepower you really want. A Juice by itself (or other power module) is the biggest bang for the buck you can get IMO. I didn't notice any power increase by just changing the exhaust, and that is the first thing I did to mine. BIG difference in power with the Juice/Attitude. For under $600 bucks you'd be hard pressed to beat it with any other single modification. The other thing about the Juice is that you can take it off the truck in under a minute if you have a concern with warranty, and there is no way to tell it was on there, unless you leave it on or leave it in the truck when you take it in. An exhaust is much harder to conceal if your dealer is hard nosed. Plus the pain of putting it back on. . .

i know a far share about engines and other things. Mostly on diesel farm tractor i am a farmer but is the juice fairly easy to install and operate or is it pretty complicated. I want some extra power for pulling my trailers but i do not want to screw the trany up or anything else with to much power.

The juice is user adjustable. You can set it to low power levels, keeping EGTs and tranny safe, for trailer towing.

I should add that you will want to remove the Juice before dealer servicing. Only takes a couple of minutes to remove.

Banks fan myself. Version 1 of the 6-Gun is the towing version. Even legal from a smog(?) perspective. I mentioned Exhaust first because it does help a little with the power, even more with upgrades, and it keeps that motor running cooler. You'll find lots of opinions. Best suggestion is READ,READ,READ. Then make your decision.

I'm not joking when I say I can remove the Juice within 1 minute. It is that easy. To remove you unplug four connectors and plug two back in. That's it. Simple, even for a block head like me.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif If you have the Attitude, it takes a little longer, but the way I have mine, I could probably get it out within ten minutes, maybe fifteen tops.

4in exhaust and juice/attitude. You will not believe the difference. I just leave mine on level 2 (as I tow quite often). With your LLY, you would probably have to leave your CAT in place and go 4" back from there to preserve warranty and emissions requirements. As stated before, remove the juice for visits to the dealer.Edited by: Crashdummy
