Hey guys do any of you have Firestone Transforce AT. I am looking at getting a new set of tires and I have heard that these are quiet and ride good. I regularly tow so I would have to go with the E rated.
Thanks,
Robert:)

These replaeced the Firestone Steeltex which are no longer made. I have had great luck with the Steeltex and the Transforce is supposed to be even better. I will probably go with them next time around. They are not cheap however.

Forgot to add that another thing I like about them is they are blackwalls on both sides. Seems everyone else but Nitto has raised white letters(which I hate).

Haven't ever ran them myself but my gf's father has ran them on his 250. He has been through three sets. He automatically changes them at 50k and they still have some tread on them. He runs 265/75/16 E rated on a 4x4 250.

I put a set on my truck about 13,000 miles ago and they are wearing very well. Good in snow and on dry pavement.

I have the Firestone Transforce A/T in 265/75/16E and love them, great in bad weather, quiet, very stable. I put them on with 1K on the truck and now have 35 K and they are prob. half worn so I would expect 50-60K out of them at least. They are NOT a good tire for off road, I would consider them an all season tire and not an A/T. I am replaceing them with 37's in a few weeks.
Here ya go.

Good looking truck!
Thank you, have 1.5" spacers on the rear now and a new hood. Will look much different in a month or so with 37"s on it.
