I have posted before and still need some advice.. I had Juice no attitude 90 hp I think 4.61.. I really liked the Way my truck drove and additional gas milage .. But on 2 different occasions when I worked my truck in T/H mode when I stopped to unload the truck wouldn't restart until I disconnected the juice.. Since I was still in the 30 dy period I sent it back for a refund.. I miss the power and want to do an upgrade and I am Not going to upgrade my transmission.. Should I give Juice another try with 4.81 No attitude or Banks 6 gun No speeed loader.. Or is ther another box that offers some degree of transmission protection? Thanks for any / all input.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif..http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Geek.gif Edited by: david b

David,

I also had the No Start issue with my 04' LB7 and the 4.81 version fixed it, hope that helps.

Do a search for 'no start' and you will find a lot of informtion about it. I usually don't read too much of it in depth, but I know that a no start condition existed in some versions of the Juice/Attitude, but was corrected some time ago. GO FOR IT, I doubt you will have any problems now.

I'm doing some research right now on a Van Aaken product Smart Box E. It comes in a variety of configurations, but its the one I'm leaning toward right now. BTW it does monitor transmission slippage. One of my biggest issues with the other offerings is some of the quirks they have - no starts / stalls and phantom code setting - good luck with whatever you choose.

Does the Attitude display load the splash screen during the NO-START ???

Mine did a first ever no start yesterday, the first thing I noticed was no Attitude display.

As soon as I cycled the key 3 times between on and off the display lit and it started right up.

I believe I would look at that..........

There's always ON-STAR............http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Dead.gif

I checked my bale connector under the hood and I never closed one to the lock position after making a change.

Still made no difference, took three key on/off to get it to go........

After market parts are a hit and miss.

I would try another box if you have trouble with one. I ran Juice 125 for a year with no problems. Upgraded to the Attitude and the new box had problems the minute I installed it. Edge replaced it immediately and I am trouble free. I would not drive stock again.

I have had mine for 35,000 miles and no problems at all. The attitude is the only way for me.
