Today I went out to reprogram my truck back to stock in preparation for going to the dealer for the new intermediate steering shaft. When I hooked up the Hypertech it said I had the P046C code. I know what it is and have read all the posts about it and was wondering if I should say anything to the dealer about it since it hasn't set a light yet only a silent code. I've got about 12,000 miles on the odometer and the plate and stick has been on since about 3000mi.
This is the first code to show up and I have reprogrammed the truck several time trying to get the Hypertech to shift right.
Does anyone think the dealer reprogram TSB will help this (along with the not so great fuel milage).
I hadn't planned on removing the plate or stick for just the shaft replacement.
Any opinions?

Any ideas why it only set a silent code? Is the Fingerstick keeping the light off? I checked for the code again this morning and it hadn't returned but I haven't ran the truck harde either? Was it just a concidence?
