: TEXAS DIESEL PLACE MEMBERS
CYCLONE 08-28-2004, 01:34 PM I HAVE PUT UP A SITE FOR ALL OF TEXAS DIESEL'S TO GTG HOPEFULLY WE CAN FORM A GROUP BIG ENOUGH TO HAVE AN EVENT IN TEXAS LIKE THUNDER IN MUNCIE
LETS GET IT STARTED WWW.DFWDIESEL.NET (http://www.DFWDIESEL.NET) THANKS
HOW MANY PLACE MEMBERS DO WE HAVE IN TEXAS?
GMC2500HD 08-28-2004, 02:37 PM I am not sure how many members we have but I like the idea of a dedicated site just for those of us here wanting to post about gatherings and things going on.. I think this that if we utilize both sites we are more likely to have better events and turn-outs. Just my 2cents...http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif
baimpala 08-28-2004, 03:54 PM Maybe people just need to be introduced to "The Diesel Place Get Togethers" Forum.
I know I didn't follow any threads there until a week or two ago. Not saying anyone else did or doesn't follow them, just may not be aware.

BassinRVer 08-30-2004, 11:07 AM Good!!! Another Dyno Day. When?
GMC2500HD 08-30-2004, 12:32 PM I think we are just trying to get an Event setup right now so that everyone can meet in San Antonio. I think we might be able to put a dyno day together sometime in the future...
Crawler 08-30-2004, 01:57 PM The DFW Big Dawg will be held sometime in October again this year.
We're stilll looking at dates right now and trying to get the event set up as possibly Dyno and Drag Racing. I haven't decided on whether to dyno at the shop and then drive to the track or get a mobile dyno to come set up at the track.
I'll post it up as more is developed on dfwdiesel.net and when it gets closer to time it'll be up on smdieselperformance.com along with event pictures and dyno sheets from last year
Last year we had over 90 trucks attend and right at 50 dyno.
We dynoed "Run Whatcha Brung" style last year and this year we plan to have some more divisions added now that we know we'll have a good turnout
1st Quad Boenker 649 N2O DMAX
2nd Don M 621 Single Turbo Diesel Only Cummins
3rd David Lott 520 Single Turbo Diesel Only 7.3 Powerstroke
So you guys gotta come out and make some new stats. We already have some trucks coming (no matter what dates we choose) that should blow away last years numbers.

The numbers are looking good this is gonna be a blast. We're looking to get some guys in town the night before so we can go spank on some of the local gasser clubs. I'd like to have 40-50 diesels roll out on galloway (local cruise) and become the worlds biggest mobile smoke generator (sp?)
