Hi, I'm looking to get a set of green keys for my 2005 Chevy 2500HD. I couldn't find a Chevy dealer that had them anywhere around me, but I called a GMC dealership and he said he had a set for $63.00. He also told me that he showed 6 different colors for GMC trucks.

Are the green keys the same index for Chevy and GMC?

The green keys are the ones you want. I just ordered some from kennedy diesel. They are under the vendors page of this website.:)

Just crank up your stock keys.

I'm not sure the stock keys are the way to go as I put a level kit on my truck and now my front end is sagging and the tires are rubbing. Either I have a set of weak torsion bars or something else isn't right. I haven't checked the spacing on my bumpstops yet, but I can't believe in 2k miles that the torsionbars would be shot already, but its definately sagged down. And mine are maxed out so I can't crank them up any further. Does anyone know a SAFE way to change these keys?

you have to rent a torsion key remover from auto zone and use that . there is a little notch next to where the screw is to crank your torsions if you look under niethe. Sild the remover over to the spot and crank it up till the pressure is off the old torsion set screws then just back off the remover and there will be no tension on it. Oh and make sure the front tires are off the ground haha.

I didn't know Autozone had a torsion key tool. I had looked on their web site for it, but didn't see one. I'll call them as soon as I get the keys. I'm having a heck of a time finding anyone that can get the 255/85R16 tires that I want. I can't find Dunlop Rover RVXT's or Toyo M55's.
