I have an 07 LBZ w Allison 6 spd. I want to get a lil better performance, mpg, but obviously longevity and reliability (no such thing with my Stroke 6.0 Ford) are important. I haul a 4K lb camper and @ 9K+ car trailer. Are there any mods that would be suggested to extend/help tranny life??

Put a Transgo Jr shift kit in it . It cant hurt it and will give you a little peace of mind knowing that you have it. You can find it from one of the vendors on the site for pretty cheap.
