Just joined today, I looked around to find info about my warranty being voided with the juice. I ordered my truck 7 weeks ago and I should be getting it within 2 weeks. I was thinking about getting the juice but I was not sure about warranty.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif

All you need to do is remove the juice/attitude when you need to take the truck in for service. You will not have any issues at all if you do that. Otherwise if you do not want to mess with that hassle you can install a programmer such as Bully Dog, Predator or Quad and then all you have to do is remove the program from the truck instead of removing the entire unit. Up to you... Do your homework...Good luck..Oh and WELCOME....http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif

fitfarms,

Welcome to the best forum around. To follow up on what the Bone Doc said, I will quote directly from the manual that came with my Juice/Attitude:

"The bottom line is that while the law protects the consumer and provides for enforcement of the warranty, it is very difficult for most people to hire an attorney and fight a voided warranty. It is for this reason that Edge recommends always disconnect and remove your module and monitor when you take your vehicle to a dealer for warranty work."

There is at least one case on this forum where a customer was denied service under warrantly because they left the Attitude in the vehicle even though the Juice was taken out.

This install is so simple, you can easily accomplish the removal of the Juice module in under ONE MINUTE. The attitude, depending on where you put it, could take longer. I bet I could have mine out in ten minutes from the time you said go . . . fifteen if I took my time.

I didn't permanently mount my attitude, but made a friction fit mount that used a cubby hole in the dash. I think it looks great and is easily accessible, then ran the wire under the dash trim.

when you remove a program either bully attitude, etc. can the dealer tell that it was in there. by means of there computer? another question can you notice a difference in horsepower from addig your 4" exhaust? Does that void warranties also. I know they will not help if there is something wrong with the one i put on but anything else such as engine? Thanks for everything.

baimpala did you drill the manifold for the EGT sensor? If so how do you explain that to the dealer. I to am interested in the juice but do not warranty issues.

whoops, sorry, I meant to mention that. It has been theorized by some if you say you are in the process of installing some gauges (EGT/Boost) etc., that will fly with nearly any dealership.

I on the other hand, have gauges already installed, so that's one hole in the manifold, and the Attitude, so that's two holes. Not sure how I'll explain that one away if the need ever arises for warranty work. Maybe I'll tell them one for me, and one for my wife, who tells me how to drive as it is, so I figured I'd install her own set of gauges. . . http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

Guys,

Stock passenger side manifold... say $350 worst case??? You can swap it in 30 minutes tops. Now you have warranty coverage for your $5K motor. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cool.gif
