well, I just got home from a long azz drive. drove 5 hours to see Brayden at Fleece Performance Engineering to get the truck done. he did a 2 stage program for me as well as a 4" MBRP exhaust (I think it would classify as a cat-back)
I love the exhaust. it sounds great, especially when you get your foot into it and it's not loud at all in the cab. I did it mainly for the EGT levels, but the sound was a nice bonus.
the tune came out really nice and damn this thing flys now!! He set it up for me on a toggle so I have a 60hp and 105hp (apprx) setting. the 60 will be used for towing and the 105 is for every day/messin around. we did find out that my trans (bought the truck used) did slip a little at full throttle during the 4-5 shift, so he tuned it down to the 105 mark (it was hotter than that to start) and it's much better. I'll just keep my foot out of it going into 5th to be safe until I can have him build the trans for me.
Braydens a great guy and takes pride in his work. he was incredilby patient with me since I'm new to diesels, had tons of questions (some probably stupid), and was being fairly picky. I've known him for about 5 years now so I know he's a very trustworthy person and does really good work.
the truck drove great all the way home. thanks again for the awesome customer service and taking time on a sunday to take of me.
even though the roads were kinda salty, one of our test runs left 2 patches about 15ft long, it shifted into 2nd and then left 2 more patches about 6ft or so :D
and Brayden, you left your ball hitch in my receiver. blame your brother for that one. :p:
