Entering "propane injection" or "propane diesel" I come up with quite a few results showing books on how to DIY a diesel propane injection setup...after fixing the trans on my blazer (this weekends task) I'm very interested in doing the propane injection modification to my 6.2L. Has anyone bought one of these books and had success building their own propane injection setup? Are the $199 ebay propane injection setups any worse than the $799 bullydog systems (aside from the support and the fact that the bullydog system is for a turbo diesel)?

you definately get what you pay for. I know for $199 you couldnt even buy the hose/fittings/switches provided in some of the more expensive kits, yet alone a nicely machined rising rate propane regulator. If you are interested i have a used PS2000 propane kit with Mann tank I took off my truck i would be willing to let go at a reasonable price.
