Remove diff cover. Remove bolt that hold in cross shaft. Remove brake drum from axle to be removed. Push axle shaft in as far as it will go and remove C clip from inner side of axle. Remove axle.;)

this truck has the independent style front diff like our HDs. i went to the library and got a chiltons. i had to remove the output shaft carrier to get the axle out. but thanks for the info though.....:) wil

Sorry, I thought you were refering to a rear axle not a front.
