Just curious, if I do a 4 inch MBRP (cat back) and an AFE St2 intake, would I get any hassle from the stealership if I had a warranty issue? (its not a programmer....and if I had one of them, they just might not be around when the truck goes in....what Juice attitude?)

thx. great forum!

I do not beleive that the exhaust will make a difference........or the intake.

I have never been questioned.........http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Embarrased.gif

Tell them you backed into a low object and bent up your tailpipe if they ask.............and the aftermarket exhaust was cheaper. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif

Tell them that the air filter box is so you will have a better spool up for the towing you bought the truck for.........http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif

The only time(s) you would have warranty issues is if you have a hard nose dealer or you were to request warranty repair on a DTC set or drivabilty referencing air fuel delivery, this could go hand and hand.

For instance a Maf sensor,Turbo over boost,Map sensor, emission related, etc; codes.

They may or have the option to say it was a failure directly related to the install of the aftermarket part. You can balk but is it worth the trouble?

I wouldn't sweat the exhaust ,unless you deleted your cat,I dunno the year of your truck ,but I'd retain my OE airbox and possibly the down pipe depending on your truck emission configuration.
