I just installed a set of 16 x 8 Centerline Vectors with 4.5" Backspacing. I mounted BF Goodrich 285/75/16 All-Terrain tires. Slight rubbing on the air dam and front inner fender well. With a little cutting with a razor blade, no more rubbing. I will get some pics soon, neds a wash.

Here are some pics. I think it makes the truck look way better. I would like to get some side step bars, but the kind like the Harley F150, that tuck under the truck. If anyone knows where I can get some let me know.

Pyro,

Real sharp truck. If I had $$$ sitting around begging to be burned, I'd do my rig just like yours.

I just installed 16 x 8 Eagle 137's(4.250" backspacing) with 265/75 Revo's and I am hoping I can turn the bars once or twice to eliminate the rubbing. Rubbing occurs on the front valance when backing up and turning the wheels sharp(backing out of parking spaces at work). I will try to post some pics in the next couple of days. I love the looks of these wheels and tires.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Rock On.gif I just hope I can avoid any cutting. pyrofighting, those wheels do look great.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Thumbs Up.gif

I do believe it is possible to put 285's on the stock steel rims.....? Without any major issues?
Chevy Freak looks to be a simular set up.

Looking good. My 2004 GMC with 285 75 16 on eagle 16x8 wheels just rubs the front valance with the TB turned 7 times. Im going to go to the green keys next to try to get a little more space for them so I dont need to cut it.

No cutting was needed on my truck after tb adjustment and alignment. I had the alignment checked prior to having the wheels/tires mounted and it was off quite a bit(don't remember the exact numbers). After installing the wheels/tires and turning the tb's as far as I was willing to turn them(5.5 turns on ds, 5 turns on ps -- truck is now level), the alignment was better but not to spec's. I had some rubbing on the front valance with wheels at full lock and backing up, but alignment took care of that. But, my tires are only 265/75's.

I am running 265's as well. No 285's yet! Maybe someday...http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif

I had some Eagle 101's I believe with the 3 5/8 backspacing along with 285/75-16 BFG AllTerrains on my 2002 GMC HD. Rubbed a tiny bit at the back of the wheel well. Really looked sharp. Went and got a 2004 HD with the hopes of using the same combo. No Deal. The front valance really is not "trimmable". This is gonna require lots of work. I ll keep you posted..
