Anyone putting in only Amoco Premier? Anyone have any issues in the cold weather? Just wondering because they have had a few problems and wondering if any of you fellow Duramax people had problems. I mostly heard about Metro and School buses with issues.

I haven't had any problems so far. I don't think the BP here in town differentiates Premier though. The only have ULSD.

I think Bp named their new ultra low sulfur diesel the premier diesel and the old diesel is just called #2 diesel

BP ULSD is only #2 diesel. The Premier is an actual refined premier diesel not just a juiced up #2 with higher cetane. The diesel is refined as a premium fuel right at the refinery just like a premium gas would be.

I was mostly curious on how the winterizing additive was working for all around.

If it is Premier ir will say Amoco Premier or BP Premier, not to be confused with premium diesel. It is one of their specialty diesels that is specified by some customers.
