aftermarket air intake seems to do the truck. AFE II seems to be noisy

I put the K+N Fuel Injection Performance Kit cold air intake on my 2002 Crew Cab DMax and it made all the difference in the sound of the turbo and it spools up a little quicker also. A good investment for under 250.00.
Real Trucks don't have spark plugs, and the quote of the day is:

Anyone hear of AFE using a plastic intake tube soon? Read here a while back that it was in the works and was wondernig if that was just BS or rumormill material.

suposedly yes... but I havent seen or heard of one yet.
