Hey there,

I'm looking for information about aftermarket skid plates for my HD2500 4x4. I'm trying to find one that will cover the transmission. I'm interested in getting the best coverage for my underside...either stock or aftermarket. I'd like to find out all the options out there....and any experience any of you may have on this topic. Looking forward to your replies.

Thanks !Edited by: tonyd818

My friend just removed his stock skid plate because it was too difficult to change the oil and get at some of the grease fittings. I ordered my truck sans-skid plates since I don't plan to do any real off-roading.

Mine came sans skid plates and would be very interested in getting a set, bottoms out way too easy with the 245's on there, and they ain't coming off till there wore out!

Dmaxallitech sells the factory ones for $100 with the hardware.
