Not even fully sure this belongs here, but it seemed the most fitting.





I'm hoping to be in the market for a not-too-used fullsize SUV in the near future. I just found out that GM stopped putting any diesel in the 'burbans and have accepted that I can't get a Duramax. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cry.gif This will be seeing double duty as a daily ride as well as on occasional tow rig for my Jeep (and hopefully a camper someday).





So, when did this insane decision come about and what should I be looking for in a used vehicle?





Is there a FAQ for the 6.5 somewhere that I just can't find?

'99 was the last year of the old body style, also the last year of the 6.5 diesel in suburbans. Maybe look for one of those.
