I have a new CTD 600 and was wondering how to get it to smoke. I love the way that the older CTD smoke. I have a Magna flow exhaust and AFE cold air intake. I am waiting on the Edge or a performance product that will not hurt my towing ablity.

Thanks,

Kentucky

You WANT it to smoke? Hold it in a lower gear and run the rpm's up until you have your fill or something blows. Shouldn't be that hard to do.

The word is the TST PowerMaxCR (CR means Common Rail) is a smoker when set on 5/5. It goes to 10/10. These are hp/tq adjustments. It's the best box out there but will destroy your engine if you use the higher power levels without engine mods to control heat.

$850 and comes with Digital EGT, boost gauge and temperature cutback.Edited by: hoot

So the TST is the way to go? I have heard of them and the Edge Juice. I have never been in a truck that has either one of them and don't know how they perform under load and empty. Do you have any trouble with your towing a heavy load and can you smoke a lot of them little fast and the furious wanta bees?
