Once a predator is used on a vehicle, is it vin locked to that vehicle even though you return it to stock?
I have Superchips, and you can transfer it to another vehicle if you return it to stock, and I am wondering if the predator is the same?

No it vin locks to that vehicle. You have to send it back to Diablo with the factory tuned put back in your truck to have them unlock it to use in another.

Well, some do and some don't was the story I got. Is there a way to tell on the LB7 ones? I know on the LLY version it shows.

Ive let 3 or 4 guys try my predator out. Just return it to stock and it should work fine.

LB-7 versions must be unlocked by Diablo. LLY+ do not as long as stock tune is loaded back into vehicle.

I was seeing a LB-7 Model, so to play it on the safe side, I passed.

sometimes they will do it for free, if not its only 99$ iirc.

I called diablo they said if your the one that brought it new they will unlock for free one easy phone call to tech support

They didn't charge me the fee. I sent my unit in about 2 weeks ago and I talked to tech support and they gave me the address to send it back and didn't mention anything about a fee.
