had my truck in the shop 4 times now for a leaky trans. cooler line where it joins into the cooler itself. They've replaced the cooler line twice now and it still leaks like crazy. I checked it out myself tonight and it seems the line moves too much inside the cooler. I don't like the goofy connectors they use...seems that may be the problem but they are dry everywhere else. Should the line move at all when its in the cooler? Seems it shouldn't, but I had to remove a stabilizer clip to find this out. I'm at my wits end with this problem.. I'm gonna take it in again and this time try to get them to change the cooler too, as well as the lines. Will this help do you think? Anyone else have a similar problem? Edited by: Bogie

if the line has been replaced, then I would replace the fitting on the cooler next. Its just an o-ring seal in there. Some movement is normal in the line.

I know I am not a Tech - Hope I am not out of line replying in this section, but I have had same problems. Been in twice, but still leaking, same place as yours. Let us know what happens. I looked again and realized there was no o-ring in there. Went to the parts store and picked one up. Installed it this morning, seems dry now but I'll let you know after work today if it's still dry. The tech must not have replaced the o-ring when he put the line back on :(
