Thought you guys might like this... He has a 1968 Kenworth with the Allison. This is just the publication, there is also a movie on the website, but I can't find it. I do have a VHS tape of it at home though, it's about 30 minutes long. Pretty neat and very proud of my grandpa!

Yes he does... in Perkins Township.

To date he no longer works it, just shows it here and there. He had the complete frame repainted, self installed (with my help) a cherry hardwood floor stained and clear coated, all new stainless steel inside the cab. It really looks neat now, I wish I could talk him into letting me run it. Ya know, keep it in the familyhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Wink.gif

I bet it's a sharp looking truck. Do you think I could check it out sometime.

Bet he left the tranny stock and did not fool around with it . Am I anywhere near correct?

He left the tranny stock, but... a while back he used to drag race it... he once had 4 turbos on the Detroit 8v-92. Never hurt the Alli though.

TTT...

Just to update this thread, my grandpa and I just did basically a complete restoration of his KW. We are going to be showing it at a big truck show in Indiana in the first week of June, not sure of the name of the show yet. I will keep everyone updated on the name and date of the show, if anyone is interested.
