I had an earlier post about my 2001 LB7 not starting when it was below 0 degrees. I checked all the normal stuff---glowplugs, intake heater, fuel pressure, etc. I put it on a scan tool this a.m. and only had 99rpm while I was cranking it. I have been chatting with scottLB7 on this forum who has been extremely helpful who stated I should be up around 150rpm. New starters are around $850 and rebuilt are $550. Anybody know where I could find one for a little more reasonable price? Thanks, Pete

How old are your batteries? Do a load check on both seperate from the other. Most auto parts stores will do that for you. I run Optima's 'red top' in mine, they seem to last longer.
