Got my shop manuals and looking at some of the wiring diagrams. I have not found the meanings of things like loc and desc in boxes on the right top corner. Also what are the arrows for below the loc and desc? Is there section that explains the wiring diagram symbols? haven't found that yet.
Thanks!

On the CD and online manuals the "LOC" is a link to the master electrical component list which list locations and connector end views of everything on the vehicle. The arrows are links to the next and previous diagrams.
In paper manuals they mean nothing.

Ah, thanks Eric.
For others, chapter 8 - Wiring Systems has lots of good info as to cable routing, connector location, etc.

Yes. 35lbs of information. From what I have seen so far I do not regret spending the money. Unfortunately it will cause me to spend more money on tools for things like a scanner. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif But this is okay since I removed the restrictor plate years ago.

Yeah, it's pretty sweet. I had one for my Impala, but it was only two volumes, each about an inch thinner than one of these. I couldn't believe the shipping weight, until I got it and opened it up. Starting from volume 1, memorizing every word, I've made it to the middle of volume 3 so far.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif Probably be done in a week or two, then I'll be smart.
I tried clicking on the DESC and LOC buttons with my cordless mouse, and nothing happened. Weird.
Just kidding,
