Wow thanks for the quick response. But I notice it only mentions the LLY, do I need one for the LBZ (2007)?

It is basically the same. If you will go to Kennedy Diesel (supporting vendor site) there is some reading there as well. If you plan to install a turbo back exhaust or serious mods it is recommended..

I ordered and received the Kennedy EGR plate and finger stick but haven't installed them yet. I have a 5" MBRP turbo-back exhaust. What difference will installing the kit make and will I notice it.

A turbo back system will not void your warranty unless they can prove it caused the damage.

I had cel only when towing. Talked to a good friend at the stealer he told me to block & finger, so i did. Going out next weekend see what happens & got no soot.

Since the turbo back exhaust does not void the warrany, does the finger stick/blocker plate void the warranty? And also, are there any bad things that could come out of doing this down the road or anything?

I talked with the diesel mechanic at the dealer I would bring my truck if I have problems. He told me I would be dumb not to put the blocker plate it. He is the guy that would tell on me for the blocker plate. The egr valve is a problem on our trucks. They are a backorder at alot of dealer too. Block, em & finger, em & you are good to go.
