hello. i just got my first diesel, a 2001 F250, psd, XLT, crew, 2wd, 7.3 ltr, superchip, expidition grill, lariat wheels... i love the truck!

have some questions for you all in this seemingly very knowledgable group:

1) anyone used biodiesel in their psd? i hear that use of biodiesel may void ford warranty (i've got around 23 k left on engine until expiration), anyone know if that's true? also, if anyone has an opinion on biodiesel, please share...

2) my check engine light went on in the middle of a very long trip... i've driven around 1,500 miles w/ light on... will be taking into dealer soon, but was just curious if that may have any negative effect on the engine. there isn't any noticable problem w/ engine... the light came on at 75,000 miles, couole this be an indication that i'm due for the "75,000 mile check up?"

3) the seats are too short for me - i'm 6 ft 5 in, and the seats don't extend... any seats w/ extending head rest fit the F250?

4) any genral pointers on taking of this vehicle?
