looked at the 2005 chevy trucks today looks like same fuel filter set up if filter set up was poor wouldnt you think gm or boush would improve on it if they thought dirty fuel was cause of ingectors i really dont think it is dirt.

My guess is that GM doesn't think that the cause of the injector failures is poor fuel.

It could be poor fuel (low lubricity) but not dirty fuel that is the problem. With all the returned injectors that GM and Boush have analyzed, I'm sure they know a few things we don't. Just wish they would release some of their findings.

If GM would tell us the problem, most of us would be happy to add an extra fuel filter or additive to the fuel, out of our own pocket to NOT have our truck break down as often.
