I am looking to add some kind of stackable programer to run with my edge. I dont want too much more power yet and dont want to spend too much since EFI is in the future, but want the ability to read and clear codes as well as check balance rates. Any combos with edge and attitude out there would be great to hear about.

You could go with the old faithful "bastard stack" and buy a Quad 215. You could probably find a used one for cheap.

Predator lets you check dtc's, and I guess it stacks well with the edge.

I had the pred stacked with edge and it worked well. Nothing power wise as the bastard stack. I still have the pred to check balancing rates and for real time data. Depending on how much more power you want, the pred would be the best to get with all the features. Only thing it dosen't do is reset the tranny codes or to relearn.

Stacking on a stock tranny is just asking for trouble...
Predator would be my choice because it will check balance rates. But I also have a quad for clearing tranny codes.
These where all purchased before EFILive was out...
