I and wondering is turning the egr off with my hptuners the same as blocking the egr.
Also wondering I used a buddy of mines superchips and programed the tunes from it into my truck then read them with the vcm editor then opened them in a compare file agianst my stock tune. Are all the changes made by the superchips going to be parameters that i can see? It looks like they are only changing 4 things the base fuel qty. vs. TPS Injector main pw and main pw(no pilot) and the base injector timing base high. I figure this would give me a good starting point. Also is anyone on here using the hptuners on there d-max or has everyone jumped on the efi live bandwagon.

You should really put in a blocker plate as the EGR can open (even if shutoff) at higer boost levels.

Any off the shelf tuner will give you an idea of what to change as far as tables - if it is an LLY you will want to look at the under Engine -> Torque Managment -> Turbo Charger. You can raise your boost here - I don't think the Superchips raises boost .
