I have had all of the parts necessary to do the complete LUX upgrade to include the CD changer for sometime now (about 1 yr) but due to job relocation and a host of other lazy A** reasons I just havn't gotten around to doing it yet. I thought of selling the kit and even advertised it but just didn't feel right about selling something that I have not tested yet and could not say for sure that everything worked perfectly so I am in he delima now of either installing the kit as a LUX or sending it in to have it converted to a NON-LUX version. I enjoying listening to music but I am by not ways a hard core music guy. The factory system works fine for me. I do have a Garmin GPS that works great and can be transfered to other vehicles and boats if needed. So I am just curious as to know if those that have done the change would do it over again or just install the Non Lux Nav radio.

To me it is a very worth while improvement. Taking the electric connector pins out are a real pain, really the only hard part. It took me about 2 hours, 2/3 of the time was spent screwing with removing the pins from the connectors and not tearing them up.

come to Merchant's event in the spring (june 23'rd) and Ill show all of you the best sounding stock Bose system you've ever heard :D

start with the stock 6 bose seakers, add the lux amp, add extra a-pillar tweeters in the rear doors, add escalade D-pillar speakers into the truck C-pillars (10 bose speakers in all), add a 10" Infinity aftermarket sub, disconnect factory sub, sounds awesome IMO... :ro)

are you driving the infinity sub with the bose amp? if not, what did you do to interface with the bose system for driving the aftermarket sub?
