Price is pretty standard across the board. I do recommend getting it from a vendor at this site due to all the support you get and free tunes with some of them. McRat Racing (http://www.mcratracing.com/), SoCalDiesel (http://www.socaldiesel.com/), and Kennedy (http://www.kennedydiesel.com/).

You can to to the EFILive (http://www.efilive.com/download.aspx) web site and download their SW for free and then go to the Dieselplace EFILive forum and download (http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/local_links.php?catid=1) some tunes. This will help see what people are changing to make power and make economy tunes.

EFILive is the only custom tuning software available for your LBZ.

Download our latest LBZ public beta software (free) from the link in my sig, or the sticky in the EFILive subforum. There are a couple of updates to install as well but those links will give you everything you need until we repackage our installation.

The tips and tricks thread will give you an idea of what people are changing - and so will some tune library tunes. Given LBZ support has only been available for 6 weeks, there is minimal LBZ modified tunes available for download. You may have to download LB7/LLY modified tunes to do your comparisions and apply the methodology to your LBZ.

You will also find a sticky in the EFILive subforum listing all EFILive resellers who are also supporters of Diesel Place. I think all will throw in a free tune to get you started, but would need to confirm that.

Cheers
Cindy

Is it correct to say that what was changed in the tune to make it custom is what is in 'favorites' when you open the file?
