Has anyone done this yet?

Target vehicle is an 2007 Avalanche that currently has the top of the line heated non-towing mirrors. Would like to swap in GMT900 towing mirrors.

I have heard that some of the connections are inside the lower door trim.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
