I was wondering where exactly the Nicktane filter mounts. I know it mounts somewhere under the bed near the fuel tank but I was wondering how easy it was to get to and how visible it was from beside the truck.
Any pics would be great.

Left side of the bed just in front of the spring, adjacent to the filler hose. It's easier to get to to change thatn any of the other filters. I mounted my bracket 'backwards' (shield to the rear), and it isn't noticeable at all.

By adjacent to the filler hose do you mean to the rear (towards the tailgate) of the fuel filler or in front (towards the motor).
Right now I am assuming you mean towards the tailgate....so can you just stand at the rear of the truck and view it plainly in the wheelwell? So you could just lean into the wheelwell and change it?

Take a look at www.nicktane.com (http://www.nicktane.com) There are some pictures on there, and there are also some pictures in the install instructions (.pdf file) on the website as well. There is also a good thread in the Do It Yourself forum.

Just ordered mine a couple days ago, can't wait to put it in. That's the problem with these d&mn things. Once you put something in, you have to buy something else to put in. They're just to fun to work on.
