Well along w/oil change and FF change i ended up having enough time to swap out rear axle fluid....Well like a fool, i saw that the front took bout 2quarts, so i went to the dealer yesterday and got 2 quarts of the grape juice...Well it off course isnt enough as i found just doing a search...Ive got just about every last drop out of both containters. It being a sunday the dealer isnt open. Will it be ok to drive this about 3 miles to our farm tomorrow where i can get another vechile to drive to the dealer...Id think it would be fine, but id rather not learn the hardway....Thanks-Adam

You'll be fine. Mine came 2 quarts low from the factory, a lot of others did too! Heck, it's half full, wouldn't hurt to just dive it to the dealership to get your other 2 quarts.

Same here. My truck was ac ouple of quarts low when I first picked it up and I drove it a week before I read on the forum about this issue. I took it to the dealer and they added the extra gear oil. 30K and still going strong.
